Updated 11/23/2022 Next Day and Expedited Requests We offer next day requests on certain parts that are in stock. Next day requests are required to submit either a carrier account number or credit card information for covering the extra cost of shipment. UPS or FedEx will provide the shipping. Cutoff times for next day air vary by the part. Free shipping offers do not include expedited or next day options. To use your own carrier shipping account please use the order notes to specify the speed of shipping. Freight shipped items will not be expedited. If you are desperate for a motor freight item to be expedited you may call and speak with a representative there are hotshot services available but be aware the costs are much higher than other methods and in most cases we will suggest you just wait for standard motor freight. Next day and expedited shipping is not guaranteed. While we will try our best to cater to expedited requests, there are many factors outside of the control of The Air Market Shipping. If the item is not in our warehouses, it may be coming from the manufacturer and in a different time zone. There are also carrier delays that may happen. In short, while we want to get you parts as soon as possible it is always best not to be in the situation where you need a part next day. Take advantage of using spares on hand to combat the urgency. We would be happy to find out what spares the manufacturer recommends for your equipment. Shipping and Handling Shipping and Handling Charges: Shipping and handling charges are based on total order and there may be items that must ship freight which is a drastically higher cost than parcel services. Oversized or heavy items may have an additional shipping cost, if you do not request liftgate service many times a motor freight carrier will charge you for that. This charge may not be calculated until the order is being prepared or has been loaded and calculated by the carrier. The Air Market Shipping does not charge any handling fee for US shipments, areas that need paperwork prepared are charged a fee upon ordering to prepare the paperwork, usually it is under 10 USD. We will notify you if there is an increase in the shipping charge or your order prior to billing and shipping. While this does not usually happen The Air Market Shipping must reserve this right as unexpected carrier cost have happened. The Air Market Shipping is not responsible for any import fees, period…once it leaves the United States we will not take the item back if you fail to pay proper duties & fees. Shipment By UPS: We ship via UPS Ground or US Postal Service in the continental US. Shipments to Alaska & Hawaii and International orders will have an additional shipping cost applied. Delivery Time: Allow 4-10 business days for delivery of non-backordered items in the continental US. Allow additional time for shipments to Alaska, Hawaii and International Orders. Consolidated Shipments: Entire orders will be shipped together if possible. Free Shipping: Orders totaling in the amount over $435.00 (excluding tax & Freight Shipped Items) are eligible for free shipping. Orders totaling over $3975.00 that include Freight Shipped Items are eligible for free shipping. *Freight Shipped Item are any item considered too large for conventional shipping (ex. Aluminum Piping, Compressors, Items on a Pallet). This offer is not valid for Alaska or Hawaii. Freight If you are ordering an item that is coming via truck (Freight). YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR CHECKING FOR DAMAGE. Please understand that if you sign for or receive an item that is damaged we can not be responsible . The fright company has no incentive to assist you and will make every attempt to deny claims. Items are not shipped out damaged, so if you notice damage please notate the damage with the freight carrier or if the damage appears significant refuse shipment. We want you to receive the product you ordered and not something damaged but we see it far too often where an item is signed for as good only to get a call a week later of some noticed damage and unfortunately we can not assist. We will not be able to cover costs inflicted by a 3rd party carrier. CANADA AND INTERNATIONAL You are being charged a fee that is non refundable. The fee covers the cost of doing business in another country and the paperwork that needs to be filled out. We will not refund this fee to you if you choose to cancel the order. We have attempted to make it as clear as possible that you will need to provide either a UPS, FedEx account or a billable credit card in order to ship to your location. We are not liable for your lack of understanding or ability to read. We apologize for the hard stance but it costs a high percentage to charge an international payment method and we can not continue to suffer that fee as a loss because of customers errors. Returns and Exchanges Note that manufacturers have different policies, we do our best to encompass all scenarios here but unfortunately there is not one standard return policy if items are shipped from a manufacturers location. Items that are generally non-returnable, this list is not exhaustive, just a general idea: electronics, liquids, piping, software or controllers. All aftermarket filters (designated by -AM /AM/ ~AM in the SKU are only returnable if The Air Market makes an error in ordering or has incorrectly shipped the item. We are not responsible for an error with any other party. General: All returns must be postmarked no later than 30 days from the original customer shipment date. Returns and exchanges must be in new condition and must include all instructions and original packing material. Customer pays all return shipping charges. Include a copy of your packing list with all returns. Original shipping and handling charges are not refundable. Returns must be pre-authorized by us and are subject to a 25% re-stocking fee. These amounts will be deducted from the original amount billed and the remaining balance will be credited to the original credit card. Incorrect Item: If you received an incorrect item no extra charges will be incurred. We will replace incorrect items and pay the additional shipping charge.  We are in no way responsible for parts ordered that do not fit unless there was an actual error in your item shipped. You are solely responsible for verifying that you are ordering the correct part and any suggestions, recommendations are based on manuals and experience from the The Air Market staff but do not constitute a reason for return. We will offer suggestions and provide manuals at no cost to you in the assistance in finding the correct part but will not be held responsible to making sure that that is the correct part for your particular machine. Customer Order Error: Incorrect customer orders can be exchanged for any other item without paying the restocking charge. However, the customer will pay the additional shipping and handling charge. The replacement item must be at least 75% of the value of the original item. Minimum return amounts are set by certain manufacturers and must be met for a return. For example, items returned to Atlas Copco must have a value of $350 or greater, lesser value items will not be returned or exchanged unless it is proven to be a necessary exchange due to a manufacturer error. Return Shipping Instructions: Return via prepaid UPS or FedEx. Insure shipment for full value of purchase. Use original packaging. We are not responsible for packages lost during return shipping. Return/Exchange Instructions: Enclose a copy of your packing list or E-mail Invoice along with detailed return/exchange instructions. Send exchanges and returns to dealership. We cannot accept returns of any pipe or electronics. Do Not Return Without Receiving a RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) – We will not accept the return and we will not ship the item back. Above Return Conditions Simplified: If we made an error we will fix it, if you ordered the wrong items the restocking and shipping fees will apply. We will not return items for no fee just because you say “someone told me it was part XXXX”.  Sales Tax Sales tax is charged on orders if required by law.
Payment Methods Orders accepted via secure online order form only. Most major credit cards are accepted. Credit card purchases verified for your protection. Large orders are accepted as a wire transfer payment and sometimes wire transfers are required for certain bulk quotes. Credit Card Fees We do not charge any fees for credit card payment on completed transactions. Beginning January 1, 2022 we will be collecting a 3% return charge on cancelled transactions. This fee will be deducted from any potential refund amount. We do not want to enforce this policy but due to credit card companies* no longer allowing returns without fees we can no longer continue to adsorb all of these costs. * Source Stripe Payment Processing – A large portion of the underlying cost of payment processing is driven by fees assessed by banks and payment networks (like Visa and Mastercard). These networks set rules about which fees apply for refunded payments, and in many cases banks and card networks keep the entire upfront cost of a refunded transaction. For some regions and payment types, refunded payments also incur additional fees. Backordered Items Backorders: If an item is backordered, we will attempt notify you via e-mail or phone. Shipments scheduled more than 30 days after the order date: We will notify you via email and give you a cancellation option. Filling backorders: Backorders will be filled before new orders when the backordered items become available. Manufacturers All manufacturers names logo’s trademarks and copyrights are owned by the manufacturer and used only to give a description of what is being displayed. We do not represent every brand name listed on the website and do not have any affiliation at all with some of them. We use the wording replacement, aftermarket, substitute or similar terms to indicate that the product is not made by the OEM manufacturer. If you are in doubt about a certain item, ask us. OEM and Replacement We use a few terms to describe the manufacturer of a product. OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) is use to designate that the part being sold is supplied by the original manufacturer of that part number. Replacement/AM/Aftermarket are terms designating that the part is not made by the original manufacturer and is instead made by a 3rd party. We sell only replacement options that meet or exceed the OEM specifications and many times the product was originally made by the “aftermarket” manufacturer and requisitioned by the OEM for use in the equipment. We have made every attempt to be transparent about the parts you are purchasing and are not liable for you ordering incorrectly. Resellers While we support and are happy to assist resellers, procurement companies and similar. We do not exempt those types of companies from our policies. If you as a reseller has a customer cancel it does not obligate us to accept a return or provide a refund outside of the scope if this policy.
